At THE CENTRE OF BRITAIN we pride ourselves in the design and settings in our restaurants.

We have three rooms for all kinds eating.  Our setting is full of atmosphere with elegant linen, crystal, porcelain and our unique Norwegian made cutlery. Scandinavian inspired décor, candlelight and  high quality menus with international influences.  Very importantly - comfortable seating  (most important restaurant feature in our opinion),

Our helpful servers will ensure you have a memorable meal.

 

PELE TOWER
For parties of 4  to 8 persons we have the Pele Tower  - delightful dining room atmosphere in Haltwhistle's most historic building dating back to 1417. Colonial style furniture - a great atmosphere.

 

GARDEN SUITE
For larger sittings,  parties and functions we have the Garden Suite - up to 30 persons can be accommodated here in a variety of seating plans. Light airy spacious room, nice lighting and interesting art.
 

MAIN RESTAURANT

The room we most often use for Hotel Guests' Breakfasts and Dinners.

Old beams and ancient fire place looking out on to Main Street.

3 course Dinner of the Day menu  changes each day.

Our restaurant is open every day from 6.30pm to 9.00 pm (last orders) and is a great meeting place for travellers and the local people. Each day we serves an extensive fixed price menu, with plenty of choice. 
Please reserve your tables in advance

Lunch service, coffee mornings, afternoon teas and coach trips for parties large and small by prior arrangement. 

We can compile a special menu for your special occasion with personal touches.
